1- FINANCE MANAGER
The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyses of operations including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules for the guidance of management. In addition, in this role you will be responsible for the company's financial plans, and policies, accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. You will oversee the general accounting department as well.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate, direct, and monitor the financial activities at NFF in conjunction with the TFI Finance teams in Calgary and Montreal.
Create monthly financial statement reporting for NFF and TFI management.
Create management and statistical reporting for key performance indicators.
Responsible for managing the interface and balancing of key subsystem interfaces to the General Ledger.
Performs complex accruals and reconciliations of key General Ledger accounts.
Prepares and posts journal entries within the Infinium General Ledger system.
Performs special projects and analytics of key business activities.
Implements internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and conformity to corporate guidelines.
Training and professional development of team members
Regular interaction and communication with both management and internal customers
Provide daily support to the Vice President, General Manager.
Special projects as required

Requirements:
5 or more years of experience in a leadership position in accounting or finance.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
CA, CMA, CGA designation with 5+ years of financial experience
Solid analytical and technical skills with ability to evaluate financial data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong oral and written skills
Ability to think strategically with strong business acumen;
Ability to organize, coordinate and direct multiple projects.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, and TMW).
Demonstrated decision-making skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with an emphasis on collaboration with peer group.
Flexible work style with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously within a deadline oriented function.
Manual dexterity required to use desktop and peripherals
Overtime as required, primarily at month end
Work is performed in area that is adequately lighted and ventilated
Carrying or lifting light items up to 15kg may required from time to time.

2- CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We have an immediate opening for Customer Service Representative at our Brampton, ON

Under the supervision of Customer Service Team, the Customer Service Representative providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and retention, respond to customer inquiries, resolve delivery problems or difficult customer complaints, prolonged use of computer terminal equipment, accurate data entry, sorting, copying and filing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors all incoming freight against pre-alerts received from shippers to ensure freight is received on schedule.
Coordinates 'hot rush' deliveries of shipments that were not received on time.
Ensures dock employees and carriers are aware of 'hot rush' status.
Ensures carriers have packing slips and have set up appointment with the customer prior to delivery.
Informs carriers of cancellations of PO's prior to delivery.
Obtains reroute, return, or redelivery authorization from customers for refused, part shipments, or over shipments.
Updates status on system and informs shipper and carrier.
Responds to Customer inquiries (verbal and email); tracks shipments as required.
Serves as a liaison between shippers and our sales department to identify and resolve shipping problems or opportunities
Tracks road and/or rail shipments for the lanes and monitors the estimated time of arrivals. Flags any delays in the system.
Prioritizes units with branches when necessary.
Monitors the activity of the branches for adherence to policies/procedures (i.e. outturns, trip arrival, appointments, pod and os&ds).
Obtains reroutes, returns or redelivery authorization from customers for refused shipments that are at branch facilities.
Updates status in system and communicates with the shipper, branch and our dock personnel as applicable.
Assists branch in any way to investigate freight discrepancies and paperwork issues and find resolutions.
Provides backup to reception.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience in a Customer Service role within a warehousing logistics or distribution environment.
Customer service skills including effectively and efficiently responding to all internal and external customer inquiries; identifying stated and unstated customer needs; building relationships with staff, management and customers; resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise; etc.).
Experience with logistics software, TMW an asset
Organizational, time management, information gathering, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Communication skills including written, verbal (internal with branches, external with customer, shipper, and carrier), and listening skills.
Computer skills including general knowledge of data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.

Work is in the Brampton Office from Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 06:00pm

3- DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

We have an immediate opening for Dispatch Supervisor at our Brampton, ON

Under the supervision of Operational Team, the Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the Operations team to ensure customer requirements are met; dispatching drivers in a timely basis, for monitoring the location of dispatched trailers/drivers, and for entering dispatch orders into the computer system. Successful candidate require to works in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines that are competing and unpredictable; must respond to changes in customer demand with a sense of urgency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor gate flow
Assist dispatch department with the dispatching of drivers when needed
Dispatch ticket creation
Perform schedule updates
Create outbound paperwork
Provide administrative support
Preparing and scanning BOL's and POD's into the computer system;
Maintenance and care of scanning machine, including cleaning of parts and ensuring that parts are in good working condition;
Filing POD's into storage boxes;
Reviewing scanned images on the computer screen to check for quality, as well as checking to see if any files were rejected and troubleshooting any problems that arise;
Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Three to five years of progressive experience within a freight-forwarding/transportation environment -- with practical knowledge of dispatching functions and transportation policies and procedures in a Montreal LTL environment;
Customer service skills including effectively and efficiently responding to customer inquiries; identifying stated and unstated customer needs; building relationships with customers and carriers; resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise; etc.).
Organizational, time management, and information gathering skills.
Problem solving skills including responding to customer inquiries and/or discrepancies and resolving problems related to delays.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form in both official languages.
Ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to work in a high-stress, high call-volume environment where priorities are constantly changing.
Ability to problem solve and complete investigations
Ability to maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the information being handled and obtained.

4- OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

We have an immediate opening for Operations Supervisor at our Brampton, ON

Under the supervision of Operational Team, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that local freight is received, shipped, and delivered to the customer as per customer requirements and within Company established guidelines. Successful candidate require to works in a fast-paced environment within deadlines that are competing and unpredictable; must respond to changes in customer demand with a sense of urgency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures adequate staffing on a daily basis. Assigns tasks, provides details and instruction on assigned tasks, coordinates workflow, and monitors the completion of work within established guidelines.
Supervises employees in the receipt of freight and dunnage returns daily.
Supervises employees in the build and shipment of all Toronto loads to the customer within the established appointment schedule. Assists in the resolution of problems on the dock and/or with the drivers.
Supervises the receipt and storage of returned, OWB, and OS&D freight on a daily basis. Ensures that proper documentation is completed and provides information to the Foreman to assist in the identification and resolution of problems.
Maintains health and safety programs (i.e. Forklift training, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc.) in order to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policy.
Performs receiving and shipping duties and tasks as required.
Trains new employees in the execution of departmental procedures and safe work practices, provides informal coaching and job instruction to team members.
Performs administration duties such as ordering warehouse supplies, etc.
Authorizes basic machinery repairs and building maintenance.
May be assigned additional tasks and duties as the position requires.

Qualifications:
Requires completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Job tasks call for little formal acquired education.
Understanding of most job tasks are acquired in the workplace by on-the-job training.
Lead hand experience in warehousing logistics, operations and support services, or customer service within a warehousing logistics or distribution environment.
General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures (receiving, waybills, verifying P.O.'s to packing list, inspecting goods, recording key information, etc,).
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety including safe manual material handling procedures, safe use of powered material, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
Supervision of staff on a daily basis; act as resource for staff; referring complex issues to Manager.
Coordination of tasks including ensuring the appropriate individuals are notified of tasks, special instructions, daily workload requirements; dissemination of information.
Organizational skills including planning and scheduling work, maintaining accurate records (returns/OS&D's, delivery logs, time and attendance).
Issue management skills (time management; interpersonal skills including conflict management; information gathering skills; problem solving/decision making skills; team building skills to build collaborative working relationships).
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail; knowledge of mainframe applications.
Communication skills including written (reports, schedules, etc.); verbal (shippers, carriers).

Work is in the Brampton Office from Monday to Friday: 04:00pm to 12:00midnight
